IRMGRadio.com launched on June 21, 2009, to provide a platform to expose Independent Music to users of the online virtual world of Second Life. "SL" has more than 20 Million registered users, with an average of 1.4 million "residents" logging in within the last 60 days. At any given moment, between 40,000 to 70,000 people are logged into Second Life, enjoying the many wonders of this virtual world.
Music is everywhere in Second Life! From Live DJ Shows and Radio Streams, to Live Music Performances by Real World Musicians, music and entertainment is an essential part of the SL experience. IRMGRadio.com was created to represent Independent Music to Second Life residents, as well as provide Second Life Performing Acts an opportunity to expose their music to the Online Music Community.
